KD Rae Tillery 1.7.2012

Friday night I received a text from my mom that my sister was having contractions 4 mins apart. I wanted to drive out to Wasilla but I was told that her water hadn't broke yet and there is probably still quite a bit of time. I also had work the next day. So Saturday I was at REI at 7am to work till 3pm doing inventory...yuck. I hadn't received any new news yet, and nobody was returning my texts. By the time it reached 11am I wasn't able to concentrate. I WANTED TO BE OUT IN WASILLA! and my wonderful supervisor told me to go and let her know about the baby. 30 min later as I was about half way from Anchorage to Wasilla my phone buzzed and I read a text from KC saying "KD Rae Tillery born 11:27am Saturday January 7th 2012" I have a new little niece! My dad had gone to pick up my mom from work and we all arrived at the midwife birthing center around the same time. My parents first grandbaby and my grandparents first great-grandbaby! Cutest little thing ever! She weighed in at 6lbs 9oz and was 20'' long. She is going to be so spoiled by her big Aunt Abbi!

 I gave the camera to my mom to take a picture of the baby and I....and this picture was the one out of many that had the most of my face in it! haha! <3
